Relay Marathon Distance – 26.2 miles, 5-Person Team

Fair Park, Dallas, Texas

What is a Corporate Relay Challenge?

The concept is simple. Corporate relay teams, consisting of 5 persons each, participate in the full marathon relay (26.2 miles total). Winning relay teams in a variety of categories will share a purse of $30,000 in prize money, which will be given directly to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in the names of their respective corporations at a reception at the SMU Cox School of Business in early 2012. Hint: your team doesn’t have to run fast to win in a relay category!

The 26.2 mile course begins and ends in historic Fair Park. At the 2010 MetroPCS Dallas White Rock Marathon, relay teams from more than 120 corporations pitted endurance, determination, and grit against each other at the third annual SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge, Presented by Behringer Harvard. Does your company have what it takes to win the corporate relay challenge this year? Are you and your colleagues willing to lay it all on the line to claim the coveted title: Most Physically Fit Company in the Southwest? Then recruit your colleagues and register!
