The Dallas White Rock Marathon and Half Marathon are both great courses that promise PR’s for those ready to run one. The two courses have been measured to USAT&F and IAAF standards, and they serve as qualifying courses for other races, including Boston, New York, and the USA Olympic Trials.
The Marathon course goes through Downtown Dallas’ Arts District, the hip Uptown area, along majestic Turtle Creek, through prestigious Highland Park, the M Streets, around White Rock Lake and down historic Swiss Avenue. The Half Marathon course is the same as the full marathon through Mile 8. After crossing McCommas Blvd bridge the half marathoners will continue on a straight path while the full marathon and relay runners will turn left after crossing the bridge.
