Victory Park – American Airlines Center

All race-day events will be held at the American Airlines Center and the adjacent Victory Park area located approximately one mile northeast of downtown Dallas.

Race-Day Activity Schedule
	5:00 a.m.	Victory Park – American Airlines Center parking lots open
	6:30 – 7:30 a.m.	Hotel shuttle buses pickup runners from hotels
	7:40 a.m.*	Elite Women's Marathon Start - (Cooper Complete Race to Victory)
	7:40 a.m.	Pre-Race Worship Service in Victory Park
	7:50 a.m.	Performance of the national anthem
	7:55 a.m.	Wheelchair Start
	8:00 a.m.*	Marathon and 5-Person Relay start
	8:00 a.m.*	SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge, Presented by Behringer Harvard, Start
	9:00 a.m.*	Half Marathon Start
	9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.	Live television coverage of the marathon and race activities to be broadcast from the finish line by WFAA Channel 8
	10:30 a.m.	"I Rocked" Post-Race Party and Awards Banquet begins
	10:30 a.m.	Live entertainment begins on the outdoor stage at the start/finish line
	12:00 p.m.	Awards presented to top finishers (American Airlines Center)
	12:00 – 2:30 p.m.	Hotel shuttle buses return runners to hotels
	2:30 p.m.	Finish line closes
	2:30 p.m.	"I Rocked" Post-Race Party and Awards Banquet ends
	2:45 p.m.	Bag Check closes
	5:30 p.m.	Victory Park – American Airlines Center parking lots close

Race Morning Tips and Information
Arrive early. Please allow ample time to familiarize yourself with this area, locate parking, etc. The start is about a 15-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency Dallas. A pre-race medical station for Band-Aids and Vaseline will be located inside the American Airlines Center lobby, south entrance. Pre-race water stations will be located at the start area. Plan to use the portable restroom facilities located near the start and in the American Airlines Center.

Bag Check
Bag checking facilities will be available OUTSIDE the American Airlines Center, Southeast corner. Please pick up all items by 2:45pm. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity. Note: Bag check location subject to change. You will receive a set of "Final Instructions" when you pick up your packet at the Expo which will contain the final bag check location.

Line Up Early!
Runners should line up at the starting area at least 15 minutes early. Please line up in the start area according to your expected pace – faster runners in the front, slower runners in the back to insure a safer start for everyone. Since your chip indicates your official time, there is no need to crowd the starting line. Elite runners will be positioned at the very front. Please do not enter the elite holding area at the starting line unless a race official checks you in.

Plan Ahead!
Please prearrange a meeting place with loved ones BEFORE the race starts. We will not be able to use the public address system to reunite runners with their families.

Race-Day Weather
Remember, this is Texas! One never knows about the weather. Normal for mid-December is about 35 degrees Fahrenheit at the start and 50 degrees Fahrenheit at 2:00 p.m. Click here for Dallas weather.
